About the Campaign
Empowering girls with skills is empowering the future. In many underprivileged communities, young women face social and economic barriers that limit access to education, vocational training, and employment opportunities. Without support, they are often forced into early labor, domestic work, or precarious livelihoods.
Manav Charities believes that every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow, and become self-reliant. The Skill Development for Girls program is a comprehensive initiative designed to equip young women with practical skills, vocational training, and life skills, enabling them to secure livelihoods, build confidence, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Through hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to entrepreneurship, this program transforms young women into skilled, confident, and independent individuals ready to shape their own futures.

Our Vision

Our Mission
- To provide practical, industry-relevant vocational training for girls.
- To build self-confidence, leadership, and personal resilience.
- To foster entrepreneurship and employment opportunities for young women.
- To create inclusive pathways for differently-abled girls.
- To cultivate a supportive environment that encourages social empowerment and independence.

Life Skills and Personal Development
Skill development is not complete without soft skills and personal growth. Girls are trained in:
- Self-confidence and goal-setting
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and teamwork
- Time management, professionalism, and problem-solving
By nurturing both hard and soft skills, girls are prepared not only for employment but also for life challenges, decision-making, and community engagement.
Mentorship and Career Guidance
Mentorship is a critical component of the program. Experienced mentors guide girls in:
- Career exploration and vocational pathways
- Employment readiness and workplace expectations
- Entrepreneurship and business development
- Personal growth, confidence, and resilience
This personalized guidance ensures that each girl can chart a path suited to her skills, interests, and aspirations, maximizing her potential for success.

Inclusivity is central to Manav’s programs. Differently-abled girls receive specialized training and support, allowing them to:
- Develop skills aligned with their abilities
